Dining Experiences
If you think dining out is a fun experience, wait until you experience a restaurant on the Disney Wish! The dining is quite like anything you’ve probably experienced before.
You can choose to go to the Arendelle Restaurant—a Frozen-themed experience.
You will experience many musical performances from Elsa and Olaf and the others as you sit and enjoy the delicious Norwegian-inspired cuisine!
If you want a change of pace from the Frozen-themed restaurant, you can try out the Marvel restaurant on another night aboard the ship. You can use an interactive Quantum Core to shrink and grow objects around you as part of the Avengers mission.
While you’re enjoying the fun-packed restaurant, you can enjoy cuisine ranging from American fare to African flavors! The options will bring you around the world.
On your third night, head on over to 1923. It is a more sophisticated restaurant that pays ode to the year that The Walt Disney Studios was founded. You’ll enjoy a lot of delicious food as if you were in California near the Studios!
Quick Bites
Sometimes you aren’t going to need a nice sit-down meal. You may want to munch on a few snacks or get a quick bite to eat.
If that’s the case, you’ll have a lot of options to choose from. Try out Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods whenever you want lunch, dinner, or a quick bite. You can grab ice cream, barbecue, tacos, pizza, and more! The options will be sure to satisfy anyone’s palate.
Fun in the Sun Entertainment
Now for the real reason that you probably want to go on the Disney Wish – the entertainment. There is so much to do and see onboard – it will be sure to keep you busy when you are not in port somewhere.
For starters, the Disney Wish has the first-ever Disney attraction at sea! Mickey and Minnie inspire all of the adventures to happen on the ship. There are immersive show scenes, tons of music, and over 760 feet of twisting and turning on the water slides around the ship.
After you slide through the long slides, you’ll find yourself on the lazy river at the end of it all!
If you do not want to go on this immersive water slide experience, you can instead opt for a family experience for all! If you love Disney storytelling, this is one that you will absolutely love.
Join some of your favorite Disney characters in this interactive and multidimensional search for magic! You will simply use an app on your phone to embark on this quest. You will be finding magic everywhere you go!
If you want a calmer experience on board the Disney Wish, you can enjoy a magical story at the theater. You can watch The Little Mermaid, Disney Seas the Adventure, and Disney’s Aladdin – A Musical Spectacular.
Other Entertainment
If you feel that this is not enough entertainment for you and your family, fear not! There are so many other options that you can choose from as well.
You can enjoy time at one of the 10 pools and water play areas on the cruise! You can play near Mickey or choose to spend more time at the Toy Story Splash Zone. There is a pool that is perfect for everyone!
For an even more laid-back afternoon or evening, go catch a movie at the Wonderland Cinema or Never Land Cinema. Both are large screening rooms that you would love to be in!
Youth Clubs
Do your kids want to do something without you on the cruise? Or do you want time with your partner without your kids for a bit?
You can send your kids to the youth clubs! There are clubs for kids, tweens, and teens alike!
Children ages 3 to 12 can enjoy the Marvel Super Hero Academy—teaming up with some of their favorite characters for the night!
The Star Wars Universe is an immersive experience that makes your kids feel like they are on board a starship. The Walt Disney Imagineering Lab is perfect for kids who love to create! If they’ve ever wondered what it would be like to create their own attractive coin, they can get a sneak peek into what that would be like here!
If you have a child that loves fairytales, you’ll want to send them to Fairytale Hall. It’s the perfect spot to have them create their own memories as if they were in a fairytale themselves!
Adult Entertainment
As great as entertainment for the entire family is, sometimes it is nice to take a bit of an escape from the family and spend time with your partner or even yourself.
This is where the Disney Wish’s adult-only escapes come into play.
You can spend time at the Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge for some great cocktails. Although families are allowed during the day, it becomes an adult-only location at night. You may even be able to experience an interactive tasting experience!
If you want a more relaxing environment rather than this hip bar, you may love to find yourself at Quiet Cove. It is an onboard oasis that can give you a bit of calm from all of the chaos around the ship. This adult-only space spans an entire section of the ship’s upper decks, so there is more than enough room for everyone to enjoy.
Dining
There is also a dining experience that you can have to yourself without the kids as well.
The Palo Steakhouse is an evolution of the already-known Palo restaurant from other Disney cruises. The Steakhouse offers delicious Italian dishes as well as a wide selection of steaks. By the time you leave here, you will be stuffed full (in a good way!).
If you want something less upscale, you may also want to check out the Pub. It has a romantic vibe with wood carvings of a Viking ship and a map on the entire ceiling.
If you love beer, this is the place you will want to be!
Other Entertainment
Of course, there is much more entertainment aboard the ship than just these options. You may want to go to the spa to pamper yourself, or you may want to go to the salon to feel like a princess aboard the Disney cruise!
Every place you go, you will feel as though you are part of a Disney movie or show. Even when there isn’t direct entertainment, you will still feel the liveliness of the cruise.
Go on a Disney Wish Cruise
If you are a Disney lover, then you will love nothing more than the Disney Wish Cruise. This new ship boasts a lot of what the other ships already have, but so much more!
Whether you want a quick getaway or a longer vacation, you can make everyone happy by choosing to go on the Disney Wish. From fine dining to dining with entertainment for the little ones to fun pool areas and youth clubs, there is really something for everyone.
