Banana Ball 2027 Schedule: Every Stop + the Disney World Banana Ball Open
Full Banana Ball 2027 schedule plus the Disney World Banana Ball Open, April 15–18: ticket lottery (closes Oct 31), closest resorts and a family trip plan.
The Banana Ball 2027 schedule is out, and one of the biggest stops is at Walt Disney World. The Banana Ball Open runs April 15–18, 2027 at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, with all six Banana Ball teams on property and four of them competing in a four-game tournament inside The Stadium. Below you'll find the full 2027 tour schedule plus our guide to planning a Disney trip around a game.
I'm Alan Eskelsen, owner of Fun Park Go and an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner. Families have been asking whether they can build a Disney trip around these games. Here's what's confirmed, the full tour schedule, how the ticket lottery works, which resorts make the most sense, and how I'd plan it for my kids.
What's happening: Banana Ball Open 2027
Banana Ball is a fast, fan-first spin on baseball. Games are capped around two hours, foul balls caught by fans can count as outs, and the show includes dancing, comedy and crowd participation. The Savannah Bananas made it famous; the league now has six teams.
Confirmed for Disney World in 2027:
Event: Banana Ball Open (four-game tournament and fan experience)
Dates: April 15–18, 2027
Venue: The Stadium at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, Walt Disney World Resort
Teams attending: All six — Savannah Bananas, Party Animals, Firefighters, Loco Beach Coconuts, Indianapolis Clowns and Texas Tailgaters
Who plays: Four teams compete head-to-head; which four, and the daily matchups, have not been announced yet
Stadium size: More than 9,500 seats, plus luxury skyboxes and open-air suites
This is the second straight year Banana Ball has played at ESPN Wide World of Sports. In 2026, the Party Animals and Loco Beach Coconuts played there in late May. The 2027 Open is a bigger deal: a multi-day tournament with every team in the league on site.
Disney also announced a music-driven Banana Ball documentary for Disney+ and Hulu in fall 2027. That's separate from the games, but it shows how deep the Disney partnership has gotten.

How to get Banana Ball tickets (lottery)
Banana Ball does not sell these tickets in a normal online queue. You enter a ticket lottery on BananaBall.com.
Key lottery facts (as of Oct 19, 2026):
Enter the Ticket Lottery List at BananaBall.com
Deadline: 11:50 p.m. ET on October 31, 2026 (Halloween night) — that's 9:50 p.m. Mountain Time
Entering does not guarantee tickets
If your name is drawn, Banana Ball contacts you directly with next steps to buy
Standard tickets start at $35
Meet and greet tickets start at $100
No hidden fees and no tax on those listed starting prices (per Disney Parks Blog / Banana Ball)
For premium hospitality options at ESPN Wide World of Sports, Disney has a separate interest signup (linked from the Parks Blog post). That is different from the regular lottery seats.
My tip for families: Enter the lottery now, even if your Disney dates aren't locked yet. April 15–18, 2027 is a Thursday through Sunday, which is a workable window for a school-break or long-weekend trip once you know whether you got seats. If you don't get drawn, you can still enjoy a regular Disney week without the games.
Banana Ball 2027 schedule: every tour stop
Disney World stop: Banana Ball Open, April 15–18, 2027. ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World near Orlando, Florida. All six teams on site, four competing. Ticket lottery list closes Oct. 31, 2026.
Banana Ball released its full 2027 tour during the Oct. 15 City Selection Show. We pulled every date from the official schedule and grouped it by month so you can spot a game near home, or one you can build a vacation around. By our count, the official list has 81 stops in 74 cities across the U.S., Mexico and Canada, running from early February through late September. Game times are still listed as TBA.
Stops that pair well with a family vacation:
Florida: Besides the Disney World Open, the tour plays Jacksonville (March 5–6), Tampa Bay at Tropicana Field (May 7–8), Pensacola (May 21–22) and Miami (Sept. 11).
Southern California: Angel Stadium is in Anaheim, the same city as Disneyland Resort, and hosts the Savannah Bananas vs. the Firefighters July 2–3. The tour also plays Petco Park in San Diego (April 3–4) and Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles (April 23–24). If you're pairing a game with Disneyland, you can buy Disneyland tickets through Get Away Today, or see our Disneyland planning guide.
Hawaii: Les Murakami Stadium in Honolulu (April 30–May 1) is on Oahu, the same island as Disney's Aulani resort. Read more in our Aulani guide.
Savannah, Georgia: The Bananas' home, Historic Grayson Stadium, has several home stands, plus a multi-team event on Sept. 16.
Teams are listed the way the official schedule shows them (away team first). Schedule subject to change; confirm on BananaBall.com.

Where it is and how to get there
ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex sits on Walt Disney World property, south of Disney's Animal Kingdom / All-Star resort area. It is not inside a theme park, so you do not need a park ticket to attend a Banana Ball game. You need a Banana Ball ticket (and whatever parking or transport you use).
Getting there from Disney resorts:
Event buses: For some events, Disney runs complimentary buses between ESPN Wide World of Sports and resorts such as Disney's All-Star Resorts, Pop Century and Caribbean Beach. Whether Banana Ball Open will have guest event buses is not confirmed yet — check with your resort and the Welcome Center closer to April 2027.
Rideshare / Minnie Van: Easy fallback from almost any Disney resort. Budget for surge after a night game.
Driving: Parking is available at the complex if you have a car. Follow ESPN Wide World of Sports signs off World Drive / Osceola Parkway area.
Do not assume every Disney resort has a direct bus every day. Complimentary transport to ESPN Wide World of Sports is often event-specific, not a standing route for all hotels.
Plan to arrive early. Night games and fan experiences at The Stadium get busy with merchandise, food and photo ops before first pitch.

Best Disney resorts for a Banana Ball trip
You want a resort that's close to the south side of Walt Disney World, good for families, and easy for a late return after a game.
Strong fits:
Disney's All-Star Sports Resort — Value resort, sports theme that matches the weekend, and it's in the All-Star / Animal Kingdom area closest to ESPN Wide World of Sports. We have a quick look at the resort in our post on how many pools Disney's All-Star Sports has.
Disney's Pop Century Resort and Disney's Art of Animation Resort — Value / value-plus options on the Skyliner. They're often on event bus lists for ESPN Wide World of Sports and work well if you're mixing park days with a game night. See Is it worth staying at Art of Animation?.
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort — Moderate resort, also frequently listed for ESPN event buses, and Skyliner access to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge — Deluxe, a bit farther to drive or rideshare, but a memorable stay if you're already spending more and want the theming after a loud stadium night.
If you're choosing among Disney hotels for the first time, start with our places to stay at Disney World guide. For a full family plan (parks + one game night), our planning a Disney family vacation post walks through the same steps I use with clients.
Package angle: There is no separate "Banana Ball Disney package" announced with the Open. The practical package is a normal Walt Disney World resort stay for mid-April 2027, park tickets for the days you're not at the stadium, and Banana Ball tickets if you win the lottery. Prefer to build online yourself? You can browse theme park vacation packages on Funjet. Our planning help is free either way.
How to plan a Disney trip around a Banana Ball game
Treat the game like a hard reservation, then build park days around it.
Enter the lottery first (by Oct 31, 2026).
Hold flexible resort dates for April 14–19, 2027 until you know which night(s) you can buy. A four-night stay covering Thu–Sun usually covers any single game night.
Don't stack a rope-drop park day on the morning after a late game if you have little kids. My kids do better with a late start, a pool morning or Disney Springs that day.
Budget for the stadium night separately: tickets, parking or rideshare, food and merch. Standard seats start at $35, but meet-and-greets and hospitality cost more.
Watch the free streams if you don't get tickets. Banana Ball games also stream free on the teams' YouTube channels, so the kids can still follow the tour even from home.
If your kids get hooked on the players, Banana Ball cards are an easy souvenir to bring home. Here's what's on the official Banana Ball shop as of Oct. 19, 2026:
2026 team player card sets made by Choice, $15 each, for the Savannah Bananas, Party Animals, Firefighters, Texas Tailgaters, Indianapolis Clowns and Loco Beach Coconuts. The Bananas and Tailgaters sets were showing sold out; the other four were available.
Banana Ball 2026 Collector's Box, $149, also by Choice: 16 packs of 5 cards (80 cards), with 3 or more autograph cards (each limited to 100 copies), foil parallels, a vintage insert and a game-used jersey relic card. It's limited to 3 per person and was showing sold out.
Earlier sets: Choice has made Savannah Bananas team sets for years, and Leaf released Savannah Bananas and Party Animals cards in 2024. Those mostly turn up on resale sites now.
Shop the current sets at the official Banana Ball shop, and check the team store at games for what's on hand.
Thinking about grading? Grading puts a card in a sealed, labeled case with a condition score, which protects it and can help if you ever sell. It's usually only worth it for the cards you care about most, like a numbered autograph or a jersey relic, not a whole team set. If you want to try AGS, you can get 20% off AGS grading with my referral link. For more on how card grading works, see our post on whether Disney trading cards are worth it.
Short FAQ
Do I need a Disney park ticket for Banana Ball? No. ESPN Wide World of Sports is separate from the four theme parks. You need a Banana Ball ticket for the game.
When was this announced? During the Banana Ball City Selection Show on ESPN2 and the Banana Ball YouTube channel on Thursday, October 15, 2026 (6 p.m. Eastern / 4 p.m. Mountain). Disney Parks Blog posted the same day; Disney and ESPN posted about it that evening.
Which four teams play in the Open? Not announced yet. All six attend; four compete.
How many stops are on the Banana Ball 2027 schedule? By our count of the official schedule, there are 81 stops in 74 cities across the U.S., Mexico and Canada, from Feb. 5 in Monterrey, Mexico, to Sept. 25 in Nashville. The Disney World Banana Ball Open is April 15–18.
Is there a Banana Ball game near Disneyland in 2027? Yes. Angel Stadium in Anaheim, the same city as Disneyland Resort, hosts the Savannah Bananas vs. the Firefighters on July 2–3, 2027. Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles (April 23–24) and Petco Park in San Diego (April 3–4) are also on the schedule.
What if I miss the Oct 31 lottery deadline? You likely won't get a chance at those seats through the normal drawing. Watch BananaBall.com for any later updates, and plan a regular Disney trip instead.
Is Banana Ball okay for young kids? It's built as family entertainment — dancing, short games, crowd fun. Still bring ear protection if your kids are sensitive to stadium noise, and plan your bedtime around a possible late night.
