The Basics of Typhoon Lagoon Tickets

Enjoying the Rides
The park is shaped like a circle, with the Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool in the center and the Castaway Creek around it. Other thrill rides include Humunga Kowabunga. You slide down an enclosed body slide at a 60-degree angle for more than 200 feet before landing in a pool. The ride can be scary for people who have claustrophobia or don’t like the feeling of falling.
Enjoying Other Attractions
Typhoon Lagoon does not have as many other attractions as other Disney parks. The Mountain Trail is an elevated walkway that lets you see the Surf Pool and other areas from up high. It’s a good place to unwind and get a closer look at the park’s decorations.
Ketchakiddee Creek is a play area for children under four feet tall. Your child can slide down mini slides and crawl through chutes while you sit and watch.
You can schedule private surf sessions in the Surf Pool. You can ride for up to three hours with an instructor and learn about different moves. You can book your tickets online, and you may be able to find sessions before the park opens.

The park does not have full-service restaurants. You cannot use any meal plans you have at other Disney parks inside Typhoon Lagoon.
The park allows guests to bring in their own food and water, so feel free to bring a cooler with a packed lunch. You can store the cooler in a locker while you enjoy the rides.
