Most Disney travel agents don't charge you a fee to book a Disney vacation package, because Disney pays the agency a commission. You pay the same price you'd pay booking directly with Disney. Fun Park Go doesn't charge any fees at all: no planning, booking, change or cancellation fees.
Some agencies do charge fees for certain services, though. Here's how Disney travel agents are paid, when fees can show up, and what to ask before you book.
When an authorized travel agency books your Walt Disney World, Disneyland or Disney Cruise Line vacation, Disney pays that agency a commission. It's built into Disney's pricing, so the cost doesn't get added to your bill.
Disney's own planDisney panel puts it simply: an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner's services come at no additional cost to you, and you pay the same amount as if you booked it yourself. Disney now calls these agencies EarMarked by Disney – Authorized Travel Agency, and they show an "EarMarked by Disney" logo with a level such as Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum or Diamond.
Fun Park Go is an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner and a Universal U-Preferred agency, and we never add fees.
No. It's the same price for the same package on the same dates. Disney sets the price whether you book with Disney or with an authorized agency. An agent can't sell the same package below Disney's rate. Where an agent can save you money is by finding discounts you qualify for and checking for new offers after you book.
Agents can't sell below Disney's price, but they can apply the same public Disney discounts you'd get booking direct. Discounts you qualify for, like Annual Passholder, Magic Key, Disney Visa or Florida and California resident offers, still apply when you book with an agent, as long as the offer allows travel agent bookings and you meet its rules. Tell your agent up front so they can price it correctly.
